Assistant coach Thomas Revelle begins his first season full time with the Tar Heels in 2019-20.

A US Rowing Level II Certified coach, Revelle spent the 2018-19 season with Carolina rowing as the Tar Heels’ volunteer assistant coach working primarily with the fourth varsity 8+ in the spring. Previously, Revelle served as a freshman rowing coach for UNC Men’s Crew for five seasons. After graduating he trained for one summer with the lightweight rowing program at Riverside Boat Club, then shifted his athletic focus to training for half-iron and full-iron distance triathlons. He spent time at Ephesus Elementary School and North Carolina School of Science and Math working with science programs. Since completing his MBA at Elon in 2016, Revelle was an analyst with Delegate Advisors in Chapel Hill. He lives in Carrboro with his wife and two-year-old son.
